Every year the club members gather, at a sort-of central location, for the event we know as "Rally"

This year, 2010, that location is in the historic Brandywine Valley of Delaware. We plan to gather at the host Christiana Hilton hotel on the afternoon/evening of Thursday, September 9th, for registration, hospitality and general "meet & greet".

Friday is a day full of car driving enjoyment and visits to historical properties. We plan on seeing Longwood Gardens,  Chadds Ford Museum (Andrew Wyeth), Winterthur Estate (all in PA), and dinner that evening in Wilmington, DE along the Christina River. (Longwood Gardens and Winterthur are large estates once owned by members of the du Pont family.)

Saturday is our morning Daimler & Lanchester car show and member voting for a bunch of awards -and bragging rights. Lunch will be on the Delaware River/Bay at historic New Castle, DE followed by a drive to Chesapeake City, MD on the 1800's C&D Canal. Then back to the hotel in time for our annual banquet and awards presentation.

Sunday morning is the Annual General Membership meeting (AGM), then checkout for those who must leave. For those who can stay, the afternoon plan is a visit to the Air Transportation Command museum* at Dover AFB and an evening BBQ at the home of Lanchester owner/member Don Henderson.
